Classic G.old Cup – Mettet, Belgium – 8-9 May 2010

IHRO is once again delighted to return to this famous Belgian circuit. The track is essentially a high speed triangle, a very high speed back straight which is downhill makes this one of the fastest road circuit still in use in Europe. IHRO has a long association with this track and it is a firm favourite of all riders. Although the famous sweeping downhill left hand bend after the start has now been removed on safety grounds, the track is still demanding.
A quick machine is obviously a huge benefit here but a determined rider who is good on the brakes can make up a lot of time in the chicanes and at the hairpin. The last few IHRO races have seen some very close racing and we hope that this year will provide the same.
This years event, the Historic G.old Trophy, is again a totally historic meeting which has proved to be of growing popularity in previous years, and IHRO is delighted to be invited to participate in this event.
