The Oschersleben motor sport arena is the most northern permanent race track in Germany.

Construction work was begun in July 1996 on a cornfield in the agricultural area of Sachsen – Anhalt, near the capital of Magdeburg. The circuit was built rapidly and opened in 1997.

A 3,696 kilometre long circuit, with a total of 14 curves and 680 metre long start straight. With all the most modern safety precautions and a well appointed paddock with an on site hotel, this is an excellent circuit for Historic racing.

The Historic Börde GP was run for the first time in 2009 but was only a demonstration event, for 2010 the event will shift its emphasis towards racing with both IHRO classes and a post classic class as the first racing classes.

IHRO is delighted to be involved in this new venture which it is hoped will be the start of a long association.
