Chimay Entries 2010
Posted in Events, IHRO News | 1 Comment »The Chimay club have made some changes for this year and they would like all riders to pay them in advance via their bank, not at the circuit as in previous years.
The entry form is available on www.circuit.be please use this and say that you have entered through me when you pay them. IHRO entries for Chimay close in 5 days, so please get your entries in quickly. If you want to enter a single cylinder machine in IHRO2 then again this will be possible.
Another important point to note for Chimay is that the noise regulations which were causing so much problem at Mettet have now been downgraded, the official view is that the 105bd limit that was being enforced at Mettet is not to be implemented for 2010, and in 2011 only for permanent circuits, so it would appear that the remaining Belgian races this year are unsilenced. I would however advise bringing a silenced system with you just in case they change their minds again.

Well done Belgian Classic Club and IHRO who have struck a blow against over zealous enforcement. Now we can run machines as they should and used to be run.
We will have to be on guard against other rule changes.
