Tony and Sophie Smith are arranging a tribute race to Jack Findlay at Le Mans Moto GP May 16-18. As this is the weekend after Mettet, riders may wish to stop over and attend this event. I do not have any detailed information, but I believe that the rules for eligibility are broadly along the lines of IHRO.

However Tony has said that he does not want any Patons, apart from Phil Read who is am obvious crowd puller on the grid and that he will give priority to owner riders. I suspect also that AJR’s will be welcomed.

This is a FFM licenced race so riders will need full licences and insurances.

As you will be aware, Jack Findlay was the star of the cult film Continental Circus, and Tony and Sophie are aiming to recreate the atmosphere of the time where fun was an important part of the event, so much different to the modern GP scene.
