I will only come with genuine race bikes (for the 2 strokes with 5 ports cilinders.

The engines of the CZ are built until the late seventies with different porttiming and number of ports.

But in competation the good guys will suffer from the bad!

See you all in coming season

regards

Dear Harry

If these replicas are like the AJR with extra ports then they will not be eligible for IHRO competition

as an owner of several genuine 2 stroke machines is that i will expect problems with the cz junior (= type 677).

many replica's are made now, with cross engine (type 680) a genuine 250 will give around 36 hp, but the cross engine are much stronger, because this are cilinder etc built until the eighties. the same problem as the ajr.vs bultaco.

for the jawa no replica's with watercooling are build, only aircooled. these are not fast enough.

i will compete with a jawa 675 (watercooled 1965) or a CZ junior 677.

hi Graham,
a little addition to your two stroke list:

- Aermacchi "Aletta Oro 125"
- MZ "RE 125"

the MZ "RE 250" is a two cylinder

The class is intended for 250 NOT 125 but of course suitable 125s will be allowed to race as now

I suggest 85 Kgs for 250cc and 75 Kgs for under 200cc

Hi Graham,
85Kg are not the reasonable weight limit for a Maico RS125 or some other little two strokes... 75Kg is the right weight limit.
