Lansdowne to race with IHRO at Chimay

In an effort to encourage more riders to compete in the IHRO races at Chimay on the long track this year, IHRO is offering ‘wildcard’ rides to Lansdowne cup registered riders. This is a one off deal but hopefully may lead to more regular riders with us on the continent as they witness first hand what IHRO is all about.

There will be separate categories for the Lansdowne eligible machines in each of the 2 IHRO races. There is the possibility of having a split start to the races but this is up for discussion.

We need to get good grids for both races as the long circuit can start a lot of riders and I hope this will encourage enough machines to fully justify two races.

Good idea. I hope it will still be a push start. Does it mean that IHRO riders can ride in the Lansdowne races, not competing for their championship?

The IHRO race will be push start, not sure if the Lansdowne will be or not, I would prefer it to be the same.
This is a one off offer from IHRO to Lansdowne, I am not sure if they will reciprocate as there would obviously be machine eligibility issues with many IHRO machines.
