It has been suggested that we run championships for next year.

In the past IHRO has not run a championship, we have always let each event stand on its own merit. The ECSC which was run a few years ago was separate from IHRO.

The new 2008 IHRO calendar is now available, just in time for Christmas ! This contains pictures from this year’s races.

Cost is a very reasonable 20Euros each plus postage.

These are only produced as a limited edition so don’t miss out.

The original Donington track was opened in 1931, and initially used for motorcycle races.

The circuit was closed in 1939 due to World War 2, when it became a military vehicle depot. In the early 1970s the circuit was bought by Tom Wheatcroft, who funded the rebuilding of the track, which was re-opened May 27, 1977.

Now the venue for the Britsh round of the MotoGP championship and it is the 4,023 kms Grand prix circuit which we will be using.

IHRO has been invited to hold races at a new event next year in Denmark.

The meeting will be held at the Djursland Ring circuit on 20-21 September, more information will be provided as we get it.

A big vote of thanks to Vagn Jensen for organising this for us.

I am aware of some of the potential problems for us all for the forthcoming seasons, there are a number of issues that need to be addressed for the future of IHRO. I have asked people at meetings during the year for their thoughts on the situation.
