The opening round of the IHRO series took place at the sun kissed Jules Tachney road circuit at Mettet in Belgium, yes you did read that correctly, SUN KISSED !!.

Access to the paddock will be from 0900 on Friday, with signing on from 0930 and scrutineering from 1300.

IMPORTANT
The date for Chimay has changed to include the Monday 21st July as well. This is a Belgian national holiday and has been included to allow more flexibility on the programme.
There will be practice on Friday from midday and then races on Saturday, Sunday and Monday, although the final schedule has not yet been determined. Sorry but I was only notified of this change this evening.

In an effort to encourage more riders to compete in the IHRO races at Chimay on the long track this year, IHRO is offering ‘wildcard’ rides to Lansdowne cup registered riders.

This is another one of those wonderful Belgian road circuits on the edge of the Ardennes. It consists of a series of both quick and slow corners with a good bit of altitude variation to provide a challenging but enjoyable ride.

One of the most famous of the Belgian road race circuits, this beautiful Ardenaise track has been the home to motorcycle racing for over three quarters of a century. It hosted the famous GP des Frontieres, so called because of its close proximity to the French border, as well as a number of long distance 200 mile races.
